Carol Kino, who wrote an article about my work last year for The New York Times’ Arts and Leisure section, mounted a new website this week archiving her plentiful and varied articles for The New York Times, Art + Auction, Art in America, and many others.

From her website, “Early on, I prided myself on being an “outsider” art critic. These days, I can’t claim that status – but I still try to retain that perspective.” She does - visit Kino’s website and enjoy!

Marcin Ramocki curated a show titled B I T M A P: as Good as New for vertexList gallery opening Saturday Nov 24. It sounds great, I am making a minimal animation for the show (yes still), image above. It’ll scare the pants off you!

Luke Moloney, Canadian new media artist and engineer, sent me this photo he took at a Zombie Walk in Toronto, of kissing zombies. Ah, young love!

Today through Saturday there is an international conference on horror and contemporary art in Ludwigsburg, Germany, titled The Art of Horror. It is being held at the Baden-Württemburg Film Academy, and was organized by Christian Jankowski. Melissa Ragona, from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburg, will screen my work during her seminar on the Modern Gothic and resurgence of issues of abjection and horror in contemporary art.
