Whale Watching at Bay Bulls and Gull Island, Newfoundland

We were treated to rare whale breaching (leaping out of the water) yesterday in Bay Bulls. 80,000 pound whales were in the air.

The aptly named Gull Island is host to seagulls and 250,000 nearly flightless puffins who bury their eggs 6 feet underground.
